Michele B. Jackson, Treasurer
Michele B. Jackson comes to Real Estate investing from a 25-year career in corporate accounting, which included time working for the New Mexico Mortgage Finance Authority and national homebuilder, US Home. She also served in the Army as a Transportation Officer.
Michele and her business partner (and mom), JoAnn, who had always been interested in real estate investing, run a real estate investment company they started in September 2012. Michele made the leap from a full time corporate accounting manager to a full time real estate investor after, like so many, she became weary of spending her days working from a cubicle for corporate America, and decided instead to work for herself and her family. Michele’s goals are to provide safe, affordable, beautiful homes to the families of New Mexico, and in doing so, create a comfortable life for her mom & family. She aspires to create charitable foundations to provide access to mental health care for the marginalized in our society, and to provide welfare and homes for homeless dogs.
Giving back to her community is of great importance to Michele, which is why she is very active in her Church and serves on the ACRE Board of Directors. Michele has been a member of ACRE since September 2012, and was elected Treasurer shortly after she volunteered to serve on the ACRE Board of Directors in October 2012
